Pieces of water

Water is a peculiar molecule with properties like no other substance. Equally fascinating is the diverse and abundant lifeforms as phytoplankton, that we can’t see with the naked eye. Like a parallel universe within our own. These things made me curious about the microscopic world of water. The images in this series shows the remains of solid material left when the seawater evaporated. A mixture of salt crystals, organic matter and in some of the images, plastic fibers.
